However, this may depend on the type of vehicle you have. We will of course give an estimate of how long it will take before you bring your vehicle to our workshop. The stage 1 tuning have been developed for daily use, we have studied all models and vehicles so they will be able to handle the daily use even with an engine tuning. This is also why we sometimes offer a lower power output because we have seen the need to protect your engine and or drivetrain. This may differ in other countries.<br \/>If, on the other hand, you want to be completely honest and on the safe side, the tuning can be reported to both the insurance company and the Transport agency, at least in Sweden.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-toggle-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-1917\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"7\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1917\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon elementor-toggle-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-caret-right\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened\"><i class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened fas fa-caret-down\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-toggle-title\" tabindex=\"0\">Can a workshop see that the vehicle is tuned?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1917\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"7\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1917\"><p>This is not visible during inspection of the MOT or normal diagnosis with troubleshooting equipment. On the other hand, a branded workshop can, with its special equipment, in some cases detect that the Engine Controller Unit has been updated. We sometimes hear it from vehicle manufacturers such as VAG and BMW. The CVN (Calibration Verification Number) that changes during engine tuning signals that someone other than the brand workshop has changed the software. In many cases, we can reprogram the system so that the original CVN remains untouched and thus \"invisible\" to all diagnoses, feel free to ask us about it.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-toggle-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-1918\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"8\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1918\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon elementor-toggle-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-caret-right\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened\"><i class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened fas fa-caret-down\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-toggle-title\" tabindex=\"0\">Can the tuning disappear during a service?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1918\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"8\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1918\"><p>For simpler workshop work and minor repairs, your new engine tuning \/ software will not be replaced. On the other hand, the manufacturer sometimes releases new software versions that will fix errors that have been discovered (or if they cheated with the emissions that you probably read about).
